South Dakota has a
statewide criminal record search program including
records back to 1989 from every county in the State. All records that
are not juvenile-related and are not sealed by a Judge are accessible
through this program.
Civil
case information is now also available statewide unless the case is
confidential or sealed by a Judge. Civil court data from 2003 to
present, active money judgments for the past twenty years and all
inactive money judgments since April 19, 2004 are included.
You may complete a
civil money judgment only search for a fee
on-line at
https://apps.sd.gov/applications/judgmentquery/login.aspx. You must
set up an account and deposit credits from a debit or credit card for
this search. When establishing an account you should use the same
address for your account as you do for your credit card statement.
For all other statewide searches, there is a fee of $15 (check or money
order) per name searched which may be obtained by any of the following
four methods:
1) The
following clerk of court office conducts statewide record searches. You
may mail the
Form: along with a
check or money order for $15 to the following Clerk of Court Office.

card. Please call the Jerauld County Clerk of Court to provide payment
information and then fax the above form to the fax number listed above.
